The eBodyScore system offers a practical enhancement for martial arts training and competitions by transforming an iPod or iPhone into a scoring sensor. Utilizing custom algorithms in conjunction with the device’s built-in accelerometer, eBodyScore measures impact forces, providing a quantitative assessment of strikes. The application can be operated independently or paired with the sparMaster Scoring system (sold separately), enabling a comprehensive electronic scoring setup. Connectivity to the sparMaster Scoring Base Station is established via Wi-Fi, facilitating seamless integration.

One notable feature of eBodyScore is its adjustable impact sensitivity, allowing users to calibrate the threshold necessary to register a body shot. This flexibility eliminates the need for specialized equipment such as chest guards or scoring socks, as the device can be securely mounted on bags, pads, or chest guards using commercially available armbands designed for specific devices.
